Greetings from Otay Lakes. Bass fishing contains to peak out in the middle of summer. The morning bite has been great with crank baits and weedless swim baits working well. Afternoon and evening bite is a little slower and as you know you have to go deep at this point. Crappie and bluegill are biting on the live worms and plastics with the purple robo worms and drop shot working best. Night crawlers and red worms continue to work as well. The catfish bite picked up this week with cut mackerel working best. Good luck this week.
