Chollas Lake will again be stocked with catfish this summer thanks to the generosity of Frank LoPreste and the Friends of Rollo youth fishing program, which has agreed to sponsor a 1,000 pound channel catfish plant in June and in July.

Located in the College Grove area of Southeast San Diego, Chollas Lake is a 16 acre lake for free youth fishing (age 15 and under only).?? Free fishing clinics are offered on Sundays.?? The park is popular for picnics and has barbeque, playground, ball field, and basketball court areas available.
