American Angler morning and afternoon check in:
We just got another update from the boat at 5pm...They have 17 Bluefin Tuna onboard. 14 fish over 100lbs and 2 fish over 200lbs.
Capt Ray Lopez checked in this morning with 11 Bluefin Tuna on the boat with one more fish hooked up. So far they have 7 over 100# and 1 @ 207#. Tackle recommendation of the day is to bring a 300-350gram flat fall in addition to other various sizes and an 80# or 100# rod.
Trips with space available:
The Daily Double has room on their local ½ day trips this weekend. Starting this tomorrow the Daily Double will be offering two ½ day trips a day. The Am trip departs at 8:30 am, with the PM trip departing at 3:00 pm.
The El Capitan has a 1.5 departing tomorrow night, targeting Bluefin and Yellowtail. Meals and fishing permits for Mexico are included in the ticket price. Limited to 18 passengers and is a DEFINITE GO!! Only 4 spots left
The Point Loma has Full Day offshore trips scheduled for fishing on Friday and Sunday. They’ll be fishing for Yellowtail and Bluefin Tuna. Ticket price is $225.00 and includes a fishing permit for Mexico. Limited to 16 passengers
The Vagabond has a few 1.5 day trips coming up in June. Departure dates are 6/7, 6/14 and 6/20. Ticket price is $480.00 which includes your meals. To book a reservation for one of these trips, please call the Vagabond office at (619) 224-6500.

Local Trips:
The Daily Double has ½ day trips scheduled every day to the local kelp beds. The departure times are 8:30 am and 3:00 pm. Trips are limited to 29 passengers. California fishing licenses and rod rentals are available in our tackle shop
The Mission Belle will be fishing offshore for Bluefin and Yellowtail this month. The ticket price is $200.00 and includes your fishing permit for Mexico. The departure time is 6:00 am. NO passport required.

The Mission Belle wrapped up their offshore trip with 19 Yellowtail and a Bluefin Tuna. They will be in a little late this evening, they do recommend bringing 50-60# or heavier gear if you got it. Their next available opening will be May 30th. The Point Loma is online this Friday for offshore and Saturday for local 3/4 day and they still have openings.
