Capt. Markus Medak on the New Lo-An just called in with an update on their 1.5 day trip which is due to return on Tuesday morning. They have captured 30+ Bluefin Tuna with the majority of the fish being over 100lbs.
The New Lo-An has also adjusted their upcoming trips to a maximum of 25 anglers in order to give the fisherman a better experience while going after these trophy size Bluefin Tuna.
The Point Loma returned with 113 Rockfish, 18 Vermillion Red Rockfish, 1 Lingcod and 1 nice Sheephead for their 1/2 day trip!
The New Lo-An returned on Sunday morning with 34 Bluefin Tuna (110-180lbs) and 5 Yellowfin Tuna this morning from their 1.5 day trip. The next trip departs Friday the 24th and is filling fast. They will continue to run 1.5 day and overnight trips throughout the month of November. Call today to book your trip.
Upcoming local trips
The Mission Belle is currently scheduled to fish the Coronado Islands. Ticket price is $150 for adults, $140 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. Ticket price also includes a tourist visa and Mexican fishing permit. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.
The Point Loma is running local 1/2 day trips at 8:30 am. Ticket price is $48 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra.
