Drew Card checked in from the bridge of the Pacific Queen, "It's 9:15 AM, we're up to 54 Yellowtail for our morning efforts on a few different kelps. We have beautiful weather, less than 10 knots. Not really any chop it is beautiful out here today. 54 Yellowtail is a nice start to the morning. We've seen a decent sign of Bluefin. We haven't caught any yet, we haven't gotten any kind of reaction. But we are hoping with the time of day, we'll be able to get on it a little later. Anyway good action here so far this morning.

"We have a 1.5 Day Trip leaving Thursday night. It is a little bit of a special trip we leave at 11;00 o'clock in the morning. We've extended it, you get 2 lunch, 2 dinners and a breakfast. It also gives you the ultimate chance that we get to where we need to go to catch fish. Whether it is 100 miles or 160 miles. We don't know where we will be fishing. we'll be taking you to wherever the best shot is to catch a quality fish. But it might be a good idea to get on that trip. We'll be departing out of Fisherman's Landing. To make a reservation all 619-221-8500. Or sign up on our website, www.pacific-queen.com."

Drew Card called in to give us this update on Monday evening, "We're about to call it a day here. We had a nice day out on the water, scratched up a nice catch in a little bit of choppy water. We ended up with just under 40 Yellowtail and a Bluefin for our 10 guys on the boat. It was a nice day, everybody is going home with some fish, people are stoked. We did have some choppy water,...... Drew Card checked in on Sunday morning, "We had a little tougher day yesterday. It was a decent day, tougher than what we were hoping for. We had 23 Yellowtail and 3 Bluefin Tuna. We had a little bit of wind in the afternoon, and it kind of pushed the Yellowtail off the kelp. There were a couple Yellowtail caught on kelps late. But for the most part it was a little more difficult for most of the fleet. "We do...... Read More
