Offshore fishing continues to get closer as the 3/4 day boat San Diego got into the action today with 42 anglers landing 20 Bluefin tuna, 36 Yellowfin Tuna and 55 Bonito. The Tuna were 10-35 pounds and the Bonito were 5-10 pounds.
The Tribute, Apollo, Pacific Voyager, Voyager, Aztec and Outer Limits were all out today on overnight or longer trips with great scores on Yellowfin Tuna plus Bluefin, Yellowtail and a few Dorado.
Local fishing continues to improve with schools of Yellowtail, Bonito and Barracuda showing up in the kelp beds for the half-day boats.
