The Cortez on a 1.5 day trip caught 75 Yellowfin Tuna and 75 Yellowtail. The Tuna were up to 35 pounds and the Yellowtail up to 25 pounds.
The Tribute's one day trip with 19 anglers caught 111 Yellowfin Tuna, 5 Dorado and 85 Skipjack.
The New Seaforth's 1/2 day trips have been catching Yellowtail from 15-25 pounds on yo-yo'd jigs and dropper looped live bait. Tuesday afternoons' trip had 33 Yellowtail for 27 anglers.

10-13-2015Captain Jim Hughes of the Cortez just called in with 75 Yellowtail and 75 Yellowfin Tuna for their 18 passengers. They are an excellent grade of fish. The Yellowtail are up to 25 pounds and the Tuna are up to 35. The Cortez has a 1.5 Day trip leaving Wednesday night.
