After a week of free car washes and landscape irrigation the clouds have parted and fishing trips are ready to once again depart from Mission Bay.
Half-day trips run daily aboard the New Seaforth and depart at 6:00 am and12:30 pm. Three-quarter day fishing with Captain Mark Oronoz and the Pacific Voyager depart daily at 5:30 am. This trip requires a valid passport for all passengers.

1-2-2016Sundays 3/4 day trip to the Coronado Islands is a go for sure! The Pacific Voyager departs at 5:30 am and will be fishing for Yellowtail and rockfish. The Yellowtail have been biting yo-yo'd jigs and dropper looped live baits. A valid passport is required for all passengers. The New Seaforth on an afternoon 1/2 day trip today finished with 20 Yellowtail. The Yellows are being caught on yo-yo'd jigs and dropper looped live bait. Captain Brian Castleton suggests using 40-50 pound line and larger jigs like Salas 6x or Tady 4/0's. Half day trips depart daily at 6am and 12:30pm....... Read More
