Our midweek 1.5 day trips have been some of the lightest passenger loads we have experienced in a few years. While not so good for the boat owner, these 19 folks enjoyed an 85' x 24' fishing machine all to themselves when we would usually have twice as many people. The conditions were optimum with flat calm seas and cool air temps setting the scene for the day's action. There was good dorado action on the kelps with a steady pick throughout the day eventually tallying up full limits for the guys and the big grade Yellowtail we have been seeing also added to the fun. The trip total was 25 Yellowtail, 12 Yellowfin Tuna and limits of Dorado. We are a definite go for another 1.5 day trip tonight and once again we have only 10 people signed up so a very light load is expected and the weather looks like it will be great again.
