Big tuna for the Apollo and good offshore yellowfin tuna fishing

The Apollo just returned from a two day trip with 63 yellowfin tuna, 1 dorado and two very large bluefin tuna, the smallest weighing 217lbs and the other topping out at 232lbs. The Endeavor returning from a two day with 120 yellowfin tuna.

The San Diego returned from a three quarter day charter with 27 yellowfin tuna. The San Diego's three quarter day trips will be fishing offshore for yellowfin tuna, dorado and yellowtail this week departing at 5:30am and does not require a passport.

If you are planning to make an offshore trip fishing for tuna, please make sure to bring a light tackle outfit (20-25lb test and 1-2 size hooks) and also a heavy outfit (50lb and up) just in case you get into the bluefin tuna or the yelowfin tuna want to bite wide open.

Update #2 4:15pm- The San Diego has called in with 44 yellowfin tuna and 2 dorado for his three quarter day charter.  Update 3pm- Captain Todd Myer aboard the Voyager has called in with limits of yellowfin tuna(120), 12 dorado and 1 yellowtail for his two day trip. 8-12-16 10:30am - The Pride just called in from their One Day trip.
