Captain Ryan Bostain aboard the San Diego has called in from his three quarter day with 75 yellowfin tuna in the 10-20lb range. The three quarter day trips would like you to bring a 20lb outfit and the smart angler would also bring a 50-60lb outfit just in case you run into the big boys and don't forget the fluorocarbon.
Captain Greg Gawitt aboard the Pride has called in with 7 bluefin tuna in the 75-100lb range.
Captain Dave Burnside aboard the Tribute is reporting in with 2 bluefin tuna with heavy casualties due to the lack of proper gear. The right gear would be a minimum of 40lb and up from there (two speeds would be nice), flatfalls or colt snippers with 80-100lb fuorocarbon attached to the jigs and 3/0 to 5/0 circle hooks.
