Catching the Spotlight
Anglers definitely took advantage of the nicer weather this week and it paid off! A lot of big trout were caught this week. Vern Barney (top left) caught the largest fish this week. His trout weighed 11lbs. 12oz. He caught this monster out of Lake 3 on Lime Green Powerbait. Ronnie Page (top right) caught his 9lb. trout out of Lake 4. He also caught his fish on Powerbait. Frank DeLorenzo (bottom right) had some great luck in Lake 4 as well. He caught this 8lbs. 4oz. trout on Rainbow Powerbait. Our youngest angler this week, Brianna Lazarescu (bottom left), decided to change up the color scheme with her Powerbait from the ususal colors and it paid off. She caught this 1lb. 1oz. trout on Marshmallow Swirl Powerbait.
Lake Lowdown
Avg. Water Temp: 53.8°F
Water Clarity: Average 2 ft. visibility
Anglers are sticking to Powerbait for trout. Green and Chartreuse are still the most popular colors but the fish seem to be hitting a wider variety of colors also. Our next stock will be on Friday, February 10th.
