Carl Schmidt called in this evening from Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA. The Liberty checked in with limits of Yellowtail today. Our next trip departs Tuesday morning. We recommend a 25 pound bait rod for the Yellowtail and a 50 pound two speed outfit for Bluefin which are also being caught in the area. The Liberty also caught 2 Bluefin Tuna up to 20 pounds today!

Johnny from the Liberty out of Long Beach Sportfishing called in. They just got back in from their day and a half trip. They caught 10 Yellowtail, 6 Blue Fin Tuna, 21 Skip Jack Tuna, 100 Pacific Bonito, 62 Rockfish, 36 Ocean Whitefish, 18 CA Sheephead, and 22 Sculpin.
