TROUT
Anglers continue to catch trout in Hermit Cove with Power Bait and Hookup Baits. The last stocking of trout will not be rescheduled this season.
BASS
This was a good weekend for bass anglers! The bite was strong in Shadow Cove and Siesta Point in the tules. Target depths of 5-15’ feet this week.
CATFISH
Catfish bite all year long and this week was a testament to that! Catfish were being reeled in from Cloister Cove with night crawlers all week long. Catfish stockings begin next month— read all about it under announcements
PANFISH
Bluegill and Redear are becoming more active. Anglers are catching Panfish along the T-dock and in Half Moon Cove. They are biting primarily on meal and wax worms.
CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Frankie Ortiz limited on trout Wednesday. He was fishing with Hookup baits and Power Bait in Hermit Cove. Timmy and Oscar reported catching multiple bass and bluegill near Siesta Point. The bass pictured left weighed in at 3.5 lbs. and was caught on Yamamoto plastic worms.

One month left for Spring Photo Contest submissions! Any photos taken at the lake between March May is eligible. For detailed information, please visit www.lakejennings.org/ photocontest.
The Catfish Stocking Schedule has been released and is posted on our website! 10,000 lbs. of catfish will be stocked this season from Alpine Fishery.
Catfish Opener will be May 26-28 with night fishing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 a.m. - midnight! A full-sized lantern is required after 8 p.m.
CAMPGROUND CORNER
Tipi sites are filling up fast for the summer! If you would like to camp out in one of our five spacious tipis, make your reservation early! A fire pit and picnic table is included with every site.
