The water has started to clear up and has reach 78 degrees. The Bluegill are biting on Redworms in San Carlos Bay. One angler caught 6 Bluegill with the biggest being a 2Ib 4 ouncer. The Bass are still biting on plastics and shiners. The Catfish bite is slow but with patience and a little luck they can be found.

The lake temperature is up to a scalding 80 degrees which has made the fish head for cooler water. The Bass have settled into deeper water and Ty Turpin caught 9.5Ib bass fishing Alvarado Bay using a dark colored 6" plastic worm. Water temperature is up to 78 degrees and the bass are responding. A Float Tuber reported 3 bass up to 8 pounds using a purple 6inch Jelly Worm all out of Alvarado Bay. All fish were released.
