This past weekend there was plenty of trout to go around! 2,500 lbs. of trout was stocked last week and another 1,500 lbs. is in the lake this week! Remember, the whole lake is now open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday and shoreline fishing is open everyday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from the campground shoreline. The campground shoreline will even be open for fishing on Thanksgiving Day! The water temperature is continually cooling at is at 70.1 degrees currently. Best Trout Spots: Eastern Campground Shoreline, Hermit Cove, Siesta Cove
Best Trout Bait: Atomic Teasers, HookupBaits, Inflated Nightcrawlers
Smaller bass (1-1.5 lbs.) were being caught on purple and red senkos from boat near the t-dock.
A couple huge redear sunfish were pulled out of the lake on Sunday off of Eagle Point and in Eagle Cove on nightcrawlers.
