The bass bite has been very good a times, with fish now in all phases of the spawn. Ceatures, senkos, flukes, rip baits, and even some tops waters all worked well. Most fish in the 1lb-3pb range, with the ocasionall 5lb-6lb largemouth showing. There was a handful of bigger Bluegill starting to show, but not in any numbers yet. It was reported that there was some giant catfish visually spotted in the Barona Arm, although no catches were made last week.

San Vicente ReservoirThe bass bite was good all last week, as many anglers reported double digit numbers for their efforts. Most of the fish have been males in 1 to 3Ib range, with the occasional 5 to 6Ib'er showing as well. Senkos, Texas rigs, small swimbaits, flukes were just some of the baits of choice.
