Bass Fishing has picked up, the bass have started moving up to spawn they are hitting on reaction bait and purple worms. There have been several bluegill being caught in deeper water. We have seen an occasional crappie. Your best bet is to go for Bass near shore in about four feet of water.

Murray ReservoirLooks like bass are starting to show up in greater numbers Bobby Tsutsui brought tw nice ones to the weigh station. His largest Large Mouth Bass was 6.95 lbs he also weighed in a 3.85 lbs. He caught these bass just before the DFG Planted trout on 2/2/18. Murray Reservoir60 Only a few Bass reported this week. With the cold front that moved in last week it made it hard to locate any Bass. The bass that were caught were in about 20' of water using Senkos. There were a few crappie caught from shore using meal worms. We should start to see more Crappie at this time of the year. ......
