Another great week of fishing! Ryan caught these two trout out of Lake 2 on a spoon. Popular baits of choice this week have been mini jigs and kastmasters for trout. Popular spots this week have been the northeast corner of Lake 4 and the southwest corner of Lake 2. Lakes 2 and 4 were most recently stocked with 500 pounds of rainbow trout each.

The trout have been biting on mini jigs and spoons rather than powerbait this week. Popular colors of mini jigs include white and grasshopper. Although it is trout season I am still getting reports of catfish being caught out of Lakes 2 and 3. The bass have been biting on soft plastics such as senkos and roboworms in the early mornings and late evenings.
