It was another good week of bass fishing, with some anglers reporting as many as 30 fisher per day. Most of the largemouth are in the 1.5 to 2 lb. range, along with the occasional 4 to 6 lb. models. As usuals, most of the largies are coming in via drop shot, and all other finesse techniques fished in 20’ to 30’ of water. Bluegill, and redear also on tap, with nightcrawlers and mealworms fished in the backs of coves and cuts throughout the lake. There was one catfish reports, a 41 lb. blue that was an incidental catch on a roboworm.
