The Catfish Stocking Schedule has been released and is posted on our website just CLICK HERE to view! 10,000 lbs. of catfish will be stocked this season and to start the season off, we'll be stocking 2,000 lbs. the week of May 20th.
The Catfish Opener will be next weekend May 24-27, with night fishing on Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday 6:00 a.m. to midnight! A full-sized lantern is required after 8:00 p.m. and Monday 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
We saw some nice size catfish being reeled in on mackerel in Hermit Cove and near the boat dock on nightcrawlers this past weekend.
Bass are being spotted pretty much all over in the shallows and are biting on lots of different types of bait. There were some good ones caught over in Cloister Cove and off Sentry Point on drop-shot plastic worms.
Customers are even still catching trout in Half Moon Cove and Hermit Cove on nightcrawlers and mini jigs.
Keep your eyes open for those sunfish! You're best sticking to the shallow coves of the lake. Use 2-6 lb. test line with a split shot 18" about the hook. Wax worms and medium nightcrawlers have been producing the

Rental boats are always available on a first come, first serve basis. We have motorboats, rowboats, kayaks, and paddle boats for rent. Bring your family and friends out for a beautiful day on the lake!
Please remember to make sure your trash gets in the proper receptacles when you are here at the lake. Keep the fish and the other wildlife safe!
