Captain Jeff Spafford checked in this morning with an audio update the from the Tomahawk out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA.

We got a school of Bluefin Tuna marked up on the sonar right after we got out here. We hooked 2 Bluefin this morning and lost one. They are right around 90 pounds. We had an hour to an hour and a half battle with this big tuna.

Lots of fish down here. Great beautiful weather with flat calm ocean. Perfect conditions.

Captain Jeff Spafford checked in this morning with an audio update the from the Tomahawk out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA.  This report is going to wrap-up yesterday’s trip and update you on today’s current conditions.  We finished our most recent trip with 15 Bluefin Tuna (40 to 80 pounds), 2 Yellowtail and 1 Dorado.  Today we have been drifting for a couple hours an we have 3 big Bluefin Tuna on the boat (80 to 100 pounds). ......
