Captain Jeff Spafford checked in this afternoon with an audio update from the Tomahawk out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA out on a 1-day trip.

We have been on a 3-hour drift and had one going the whole time. Right at 3pm we had 6 going at once, unfortunately we lost 3. The right gear is so important. 50 pounds is getting the fish onto the boat.
