Bass have been very active and hungry. A lot of anglers have been having luck with top water lures early in the morning. Texas rig with plastic worms is also a favorite. Crappie have drastically slowed down. Bluegill and tilapia have been biting strong with most preferring night crawlers. Catfish are biting on mackerel and big night crawlers.

Bass bite is steady with many biting on plastics ( worms, creatures, jigs) some jerk baits also. Crappie bite is still going strong with more going for live shiners. Catfish are biting towards the narrows with many biting on mackerel. Bluegill is very strong with night crawlers being the favorite bait. Bass bite is a little tough you have to really work for them and find their spot. Bass are biting robo worms in the 6” and also curly tail worms with a Texas rig or drop shot. Crappie bit is very strong with many crappie ver 2 lbs. being reported they seem to be favoring live shiners. Catfish bite is strong and they are favoring mackerel and dough balls.
