Bass fishing was day to day last week, but there has been a lot more breaking fish as of late, and throughout the day. Flukes, Kastmasters, A-rigs etc. have been producing if you can get on them right away. Other than that it’s been drop shot in 25’ to 35’ off water. There were a few decent bluegill catches made, with fish to 1.5 lbs reported. Baits and locations were closely guarded. Catfish went unreported last week.

Laregmouth Bass Have Been Schooled up in The Mornings
San Vicente ReservoirIn the morning the largemouth have been schooled up, and chasing Silversides out in open water. Small swimbaits, flukes, rip baits and top waters all worked for the breaking fish. The mid day hours, and evening its been finesse techniques in the 25’ to 35’ of water.
