Bass fishing has gotten pretty good, the bass are chasing huge balls of shad. It seems the quality and size of fish are much better. Top water and white jerk baits early in the morning and late in the day. You will want to try and match the boat fish. Fishing just outside the tulles seems to be the most productive. Bluegill fishing is also good. We saw a couple of nice stringers of bluegill last week with many of them weighing around a pound.
