With the additional 1,200 lbs including some trophy's for your angling pleasure, the trout inventory is increasing, its just a matter of time till it bust's wide open**These Jess Ranch trout are outstanding in quality full tails and fins, great taste, plus an attitude for the fight.

Trout Bait: 16-20"inch leader, night crawler smeared with scent fished below a bobber, or Rainbow Power Bait fished off the bottom. (Pautzkes Krill gel or liquid Krill scent)

Best Trout Lures: Orange Rapala, Yellow Roster Tail, Gold Panther Martin. Use scent (Krill gel works best)

Best Trout Spots: Lone Pine, Dike, Chambers Park, Trolling entire lake.

Notable: Kaitlyn Finney, Santee, 4lbs 8 oz Rainbow, green power bait, Heron Point. Jim Carlson, San Diego, 4lbs 4oz Rainbow, night crawler, Lone Pine.

Fly Fishing: Try a Matuka or a Wolly Bugger worked slow on the fall.

Nature Walk: The self guided walk is 3 1/2 miles around the lake. The trail is open for daily use.

Free Fishing Class Saturday at 10:AM: Ranger Willard will teach tried and true Trout tactics, along with Crappie and Catfish.

Prognosis:!! With another stocking this week the inventory of trout is in the anglers favor. Fishing bait should continue to produce some fine stringers with steady action while trolling with Roster Tails, Panther Martins and Rapalas providing some action! Water temperature 48 degree.
