The bass bite is holding steady with many 5-6 pound bass fish being caught near the boat ramp area, going towards the narrows. Tilapia are being caught very frequently on live night crawlers. Bluegill are being caught on meal worms. Catfish are biting on live bait as well as mackerel. The last day open with be Sunday, October 27 and we will reopen early February 2020.

Bass Bite is Strong
Lake HodgesThe bass bite is still strong with a lot of 5 lb. and up bass being caught. Plastics and live bait are being bit quite ofter. Tilapia are being very well near the shorelines on night crawlers. Bluegills are bing near the docks and boat ramp on night crawlers. Lake HodgesBass are being caught frequently on the narrows side of the lake on live baits and also on Texas rig and drop shot. Purples and green seem to be the favored plastic colors. Bluegill are bite got night crawler near the shorelines. Catfish are being caught near the dam on mackerel and also night crawlers.
