Not much changed here last week, most bass are schooled up, and chasing silversides all over the lake. You really need to match the hatch for these fish otherwise they can be difficult to catch. If chasing boils is not what you are into you can use your favorite finesse technique in 40’ to 50’ of water. All other species went unreported to the concession.

San Vicente ReservoirMost of the bass population are schooled up, and chasing small silversides all over the lake. This has been providing som exciting yet challenging angling opportunities. If you are not into chasing boils there are some largemouth hunkered down at 40’ to 50’. Most finesse techniques have been producing for the deep fish.
