Fishing has steadily improved over the last week with the coming winter conditions. We also received a hefty stock of rainbow trout this past week totaling 600 pounds. The trout has been eating pretty heavily as well, even though its just been planted. Most trot are being caught on powerbait, redworms, Kastmasters, rooster tails and small spoons. They are being caught daily right off the shore! The bass are still a little slower than usual, however there are some being caught on Hudleston Swimbaits as well as R2S S-Wavers so don’t be afraid to try throwing those bigger swimbaits. Most bass are caught primarily using blade baits like Damikis, Deep diving crank baits, jerk baits, or drop-shot with dark plastic worms.  Bluegill fishing has been amazing as well. With most bluegill fishermen catching anywhere from 10-20 bluegill a day. Don’t miss out on some great trout fishing.

Earlier in the morning you can find the bass more shallow while they are feeding on crayfish and stray bait fish. But once the sun comes out in full and the air temperature warms up significantly the fish will immediately move out to deeper water....... Read More

Fishing has definitely improves in the last week! This past week we have been seeing multiple anglers bringing in 12-14 fish per day. Drop-shot seems to be the most productive way to catch multiple fish. Although fish being caught on drop-shot have been smaller there have been a couple instances of anglers catching bass in the 4-5 pound range. Jigging spoons like Kastmasters has also been a really good way to catch the deeper bass schooling off of drop offs....... Read More
