SO MANY FISH, SO LITTLE TIME
Caught my personal best bluegill at Lake Jennings today using a night crawler on a Carolina rig, also caught a decent Chanel catfish on same method/bait. It was a slow day fishing and I’m pretty sure I caught the only 2 fish for the entire lake all day/night ha ha ha! #lakejennings #eastcounty #lakeside #sandiego #fishing #bluegill #panfish #nightcrawler #catfish #channelcatfish #sunfish#catchandreleaseintohotgrease

- If you didn't make it out to the lake during winter break...fear not! The lake will be open all day again on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 20th 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OR fish from the shoreline at the campground during the week. Stop by the campground kiosk to purchase a fishing permit.
- Fishing and boating fees are changing beginning January 1, 2020. Please visit our website to review the new fees.
- What's the catch? Bluegill are biting on nightcrawlers in Cloister Cove. Another giant Blue Catfish was pulled out of Siesta Cove this week. A whopping 57.23 lbs! Bass are hanging out around the Hermit Cove buoy line and old boat ramp. Trout are still being pulled from the northeast side of the lake. Mornings are the best time to catch 'em.
