Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca: SNOW- SNOW- SNOW We had more than 12 inches of snow this week and more expected this weekend. Some of the more hardy fisherman have been out this week, but have not reported back.

WINTER HOURS ARE DECEMBER 1 THROUGH FEBRUARY 28
Monday - Friday 8AM to 4PM Saturday and Sunday 6AM - 4:30PM


Best Trout Spots continue to be Lone Pine, Chambers Park and the Dike area.

Notables: Jerry Emilo and Sam Hom from San Diego caught three nice trout on Saturday in the South area of the lake. Trout weights were 4.9lb, 3.7lb and 4lb, all caught on nightcrawlers.

Ranger Charlie will give the Free Fishing class at 10:00AM on Saturday. He will concentrate on cold weather tactics.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH. A fee is charged for the wash down. (Boats, motors, float tubes and waders to be washed). More info under boat wash on the website.
