The bass bite improved this last week in both numbers and quality. Drop shooting in 20’ to 30’ was productive as well as a decent reaction bite in the afternoon. There has been a few breaking fish on the micro silversides creating some top water action for those who want to chase the boils. The panfish bite was fair in the backs of cuts and coves all over the lake for a mixture of bluegill, redear, and crappie. Drop shooting nightcrawlers and mealworms was the ticket for success on the slabs. There were a few visual sightings of some of the lake larger blue cats in toll road, but there were no catches reported to the concession last week.
