Greetings from Lower Otay Lake in Chula Vista. Fishing continues to be stellar out at Otay and its all about the Bass and Bluegill bite. The drop shot Robo worm continues to be the hot ticket, specifically the purple color. Give yourself a 18 inch leader between the hook and drop shot weight and watch it all happen. Live worms are working as well with meal worms, night crawlers and red worms. The bluegill are biting on the live worms as well use about a 3 foot leader with a floating bobber. Its been a great summer of fishing so far and we hope it continues in the 2nd half.
