The lake will remain open for weekday fishing until after Labor Day when we will close on weekdays but remain open on weekends through fall re-opening full time in mid-December.

The Catfish bite is best at the West Buoy Line. Lake Wohlford cats prefer chicken liver or cut mackerel.

Largemouth Bass can be found lurking around structure and respond well to crawdads, frogs, and other dark colored plastics. Brady Garrett of Long Beach caught & released a 10.50# bass Thursday using a swimbait off the South Shore Rock Pile.
