New Lo-An returned this morning with limits (50) of Bluefin (25-50 pounds) Tuna and 3 Yellowtail for their 25 anglers from the latest 1.5 day trip.

El Capitan returned from a 1.5 day trip this A.M. with LIMITS (30) of Bluefin plus 5 Goats for thier 15 anglers.

Pacific Islander called in this A.M. with LIMITS (54) of Dorado and 6 Bluefin Tuna (so far) for day two of their 2 day trip and looking for more.


New Trips Added:

The American Angler has 1.5 day trips scheduled during the month of September. Ticket price is $525.00 and includes your meals. Fishing permits are additional. To book any of these trips, please call Lori at the American Angler office (619) 223-5414 or click the following link AA 1.5 day

Due to a couple of private charter cancellations the New Lo-An has added two new open party 3 day trips towards the end of November. These trips deaprt at 10am on Saturday 11/21/2020 and Friday 11/27/2020. The price is $960 and the passenger load is limited to 20 anglers. These trips will be targeting Bluefin Tuna. Permits and meals will be included.

Local trips:

The Daily Double departs twice a day for ½ day trips to the local kelp beds. Departure times are 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.

Some things to keep in mind in order to be able to go forward are that social distancing practices and safe medical practices must be adhered to and are as follows:
1. Any angler that has any cold or flu symptoms must stay at home.
2. All anglers must wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose.
3. Anglers must keep a minimum of a 6-foot distance at all times.
4. All anglers fishing on an Overnight trip or longer must bring their own pillow and blanket.
