Greeting from Lake Miramar. It cooled off a little this week but that didn’t help the bite out here. It was average at best. The bass bite has slowed but the bluegill bite remains good. Try a frog lure on tope of the water late int heady. The margarita mutalator #3 rousted up a 3 lb. Bass near the dam in the deeps. Bluegill are biting on all worms including the smaller meal and was worms. Try the new wrangler juicy red worm, no sold at the bait shop. As we move into fall the water will cool and hear into the next angling season.

Miramar LakeWelcome to Lake Miramar. Another hot week with record breaking temperatures over the weekend. This weather keeps a lot of anglers at home but there is still a crowd in the mornings. Miramar LakeGreetings from Lake Miramar. As we leave August and move into September it is starting to cool down a bit. A good spot to fish these days in off at the 3 mile post.
