Greetings from Lake Murray. As the season change from summer to fall we look forward to colder water and better fishing.
Bluegill fishing continues to be the hot ticket with meal and wax worms working best. The live night crawlers and red worms are always a solid bet as well. A few catfish showed up on the dock this week using mackerel. The bass bite has slowed somewhat but the morning and evening bite is where you want to be. Try the drop shot with a purple robo or a margarita mutalator. Good luck this week.

Murray ReservoirGreetings from Lake Murray. Boy oh Boy is it hot! This is simply not the weather we want for good fishing. You must get out early with the opening bell and you gotta go deep. Actually the sundown bite has been better than the sun up. Go deep from 7-8 pm with live red worms or night crawlers and you should get something.
