Greetings from Lake Miramar in Scripps Ranch. We have a lunker to report. Saturday a 71.8 pound Catfish was caught at Moe’s Hole. The anglers was using a 1/4 piece of a hotdog with a garlic dusting. The bast was in the water for seconds as the cat hit it on the way down.

Bass fishing has slowed some what and is best right at opening with both live and plastic worms. Pan fish are still out there with a meal worm, bobber and no weight working best. Good luck this week.

Moving into October means the fall bass bite should be picking up soon. Last week we daw some larger bass caught in the tullies. Plastic green robos with the drop shot leader have been working well. Hello and greeting from Lake Miramar. As it cools off we move into October and look forward to the fall bass bite. As each week goes by you need to go deeper and deeper. The dock off Natalie’s Point has been good as well as the deeps along the dam. Green and brown robo worms with the drop shot are working well.
