October 21, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.
Tackle Day November 7th, 2020 9am to 3pm
EVENT DETAILS: Fisherman's Landing in conjunction with Let’s Talk Hook-up and several prominent fishing tackle manufactures, will host Tackle Day at Fisherman's Landing. This event will feature seminars throughout the day given by some of Southern California's premier saltwater fishing experts, including captains from local and long range sportfishing vessels. Many tackle manufacturers will be on hand to display their newest saltwater fishing gear. West Coast Marine will have a Parkers boat on display. Fisherman's Landing Tackle Shop will offer UNBELIEVABLE BLOWOUT PRICING on tons of saltwater fishing items, for local and long range fishermen, as well as holiday shoppers. Participate in the ever popular SURFACE IRON CASTING CONTEST! Additionally, dozens of prizes will be up for grabs in a huge raffle. The raffel will in part benefit Captain Rollo's Kids at Sea. Let's Talk Hook-up will kick off the event with a live broadcast on FM 97.3 The Fan from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Seminars and sales activities will begin at 9:00AM.

The Outrider called in with 15 Bluefin Tuna on the boat (1@ 238lbs. 2 @ 150lbs, and 12 are 100+lbs) for 8 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.
The Dolphin AM caught 80 Reds and 40 Rockfish for 14 anglers.
The Dolphin PM caught 71 Rockfish, 17 Sheephead, 3 Sand Bass, 5 Bonito, and 4 Sculpin for 19 anglers.
The Liberty finished up with 37 Yellowfin Tuna, 75 Skipjack, and 85 Yellowtail on a full day trip with 39 anglers.
The Tomahawk called in with 34 Bluefin Tuna (1@90# / 24@ 100#-340#) for Day 2 of their 2.5 Day trip with 21 anglers.
The Pacific Queen returned this AM with 77 Bluefin Tuna 4@ 80-90# and 27@ 140-260# and 50 Yellowtail for their 3 day trip with 24 Anglers.

The Liberty caught 70 Yellowtail, 30 Yellowfin Tuna, 15 Dorado, and 43 Skipjack Tuna for 10 anglers on their 2 day trip.
The Dolphin called in with 40 Yellowfin Tuna, LIMITS (75) of Yellowtail, and 25 Skipjack Tuna on their full day trip with 15 anglers.
The Pegasus returned this AM with LIMITS of (32) Bluefin Tuna and 20 Yellowtail for their 1.5 trip with 16 anglers.
Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.
- Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks. They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.
As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
