October 22, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.
Tackle Day November 7th, 2020 9am to 3pm
EVENT DETAILS: Fisherman's Landing in conjunction with Let’s Talk Hook-up and several prominent fishing tackle manufactures, will host Tackle Day at Fisherman's Landing. This event will feature seminars throughout the day given by some of Southern California's premier saltwater fishing experts, including captains from local and long range sportfishing vessels. Many tackle manufacturers will be on hand to display their newest saltwater fishing gear. West Coast Marine will have a Parkers boat on display. Fisherman's Landing Tackle Shop will offer UNBELIEVABLE BLOWOUT PRICING on tons of saltwater fishing items, for local and long range fishermen, as well as holiday shoppers. Participate in the ever popular SURFACE IRON CASTING CONTEST! Additionally, dozens of prizes will be up for grabs in a huge raffle. The raffel will in part benefit Captain Rollo's Kids at Sea. Let's Talk Hook-up will kick off the event with a live broadcast on FM 97.3 The Fan from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Seminars and sales activities will begin at 9:00AM.

Bight Sportfishing returned this evening with 1 Swordfish for 2 anglers on a private charter.
The Dolphin AM trip caught 76 Rockfish, 30 Bonito, and 7 Sculpin for 41 anglers.
The Dolphin PM trip caught 106 Rockfish, 8 Sculpin, 4 Sheephead, 2 Bonito, and 1 Calico Bass for 41 anglers.
The Islander called in with 55 Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowtail for 31 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip.
The Pacific Queen called in with 28 Bluefin Tuna (25lbs - 240lbs) for 35 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip.
The Tomahawk called in with 23 Bluefin Tuna (1@30 lbs. and 22@130 to 250 lbs.)
The Intrigue called in with LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Dorado for 6 anglers on their Full Day Trip.
The Pegasus called in with 16 Bluefin Tuna up to 90 lbs for their 1.5 Day Private Charter.
The Islander called in with 50 Bluefin Tuna with fish hanging on their 1.5 day trip for 31 anglers.
The Liberty returned with 27 Yellowtail and 8 Bluefin Tuna (4@ 45#-115#) on their 1.5 day charter.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 79 Rockfish and 1 Sheephead for 22 anglers.
The Dolphin PM trip caught 44 Rockfish, 1 Sheephead, 1 Calico Bass, and Sculpin for 30 andglers.
Bight Sportfishing returned with 6 Bluefin Tuna (135 to 172 lbs.) for 3 anglers on a private charter.
The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 58 Bluefin Tuna for 34 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 10 of these Bluefin were 140 to 215 lbs. 17 weighed in at 90 lbs. and the rest were 30 to 40 lbs.
The Condor returned with 37 Bluefin Tuna (up to 150lbs.) for 34 anglers on a 1.5 Day Trip.
Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.
- Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks. They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.
As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
