The bass bite was excellent this week at Lower Otay. Anglers reported double digit catches. Top water until about 9 am, actively eating shad. The bluegill bite picked up once again with reports of 2 pounders being caught. A good amount of catfish were caught as well. Harvey’s Arm is where it’s at! Come in and rent a boat to get out there!

The bass bite was challenging after 10AM this week. Morning and evening bite was still very good. Reaction baits and flipping flukes was the most successful for catching the larger bass.
