Catfish can be found throughout the lake but are particularly active at the West Buoy Line. Lake Wohlford cats are partial to shrimp, cut mackerel, and chicken liver.
Largemouth Bass can be found lurking around structure. Top water plugs, crank baits, and dark colored plastics are what’s working.
Crappie fishing is best in the early mornings or late afternoons. Crappie prefer live golden shiners or mini-jigs.

Wohlford LakeCatfish can be found throughout the lake but are particularly active at the West Buoy Line. Lake Wohlford cats are partial to shrimp, cut mackerel, and chicken liver. Wohlford LakeSummer seems to have finally departed for good. The arrival of fall weather typically ushers in an increase in feeding activity with the larger catfish. A weekend outing aimed toward landing a monster whiskerfish could be well timed. Lake Wohlford cats are partial to shrimp, cut mackerel, and chicken liver.
