Greetings from Lake Miramar in Scripps Ranch. Fishing picked up this week with all species coming out to play. Bass are biting on live red worms and night crawlers which are available at the boat shop. Plastics with a drop shot are also doing well. Bluegill are still biting on smaller wax and meal worms. Trout are making an appearance with marshmallows and power bait. Catfish are biting on mackerel and shrimp.

Miramar LakeGreetings from Lake Miramar in Scripps Ranch. We are are open for boating, fishing and hiking and enforcing all Covid rules. The bass bite was just okay this week although the numbers weren’t there, the size was definitely bigger. Both roboworms and nightcralwers are doing best. Miramar LakeGreeting from Lake Miramar in Scripps Ranch. As temperatures cool and the water gets colder the fish are moving out of the coves. Try the fishing dock at Natalies Point. The bass are biting on spinner baits, robo plastics with a drophshot. Live night crawlers and red worms are working as well.
