The bass spawn counties as the bite picks up. Stay shallow closer to the shore and you should get some hits. Most bass baits are working well. Try the live night crawlers and garlic red worms from the bait shop. Swimbaits and plastics are working well too. The dock around Natalie’s has been good action as well as the bullies. Bluegill continues to be good with meal worms and small pieces of night crawlers. Good luck this week.

Miramar LakeGreetings From Lake Miramar in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood of San Diego. The bass spawn is happening with aggressive males on guard. They have moved in close and are visible. We have been reopened after 4 months of the Covid close down but out concession store is now open with tackle and live night crawls and meal worms. The bass are now in their spawning phase which brings them closer to shore.
