Bluegill are controlling the lake right now. Crickets seem to be the ticket. Fish in or near the tules, but not limited to crickets the bluegill are pretty much wide open bitting meal worms and hammering wax worms. So if you are a pan fish addict nows the time. The bass on the other hand are biting in the early morning hours and the evening frogs have been producing some nice bass in the tules. Drop shot is still working on the points and in the backs of coves. Watermelon with red and black flake senkos are your best bet if you fish plastics. One fisherman came in and reported 14 bluegill the biggest was 1.75 lbs.
