Please rent a big rod at the landing if you do not have one. There are a couple of near spooled reels on each trip. (Large fish taking all the line off the reel). The Large strong, 2 speed reels increase your chances by 100 %.

The knife jig is Hot! Go Largest

Brand new 50 pound with brand new fluorocarbon is Hot! On medium size fish, use 2 Ott circle hooks.

Parking is tough, come early enough to park, shop at the tackle shop, rent a big 2 speed reel, and check in with our ticket personnel. (90 minutes at least)

Your friendly crew is onboard and looking forward to helping. Plus, they are very in tune to the best tackle tips, and fishing techniques. Remember if it works / do it.

I hate to say this but there is no other way. To catch catfish, us catfish gear. To catch big tuna, use big tuna gear. There is NO other way. Sorry. We recently had a champion Cat fisherman come out and refused good help, he lost 7 tunas in a row. That was a bad experience for all. Do not bring catfish gear no longer allowed onboard. The upside everyone else loaded up on quality fish.
