Catfish were planted yesterday about noon and the bite this morning is outstanding with some anglers limiting out by mid-morning. Boat Dock Cove and Senior Shoreline are doing well, as would be expected, due to their proximity to the where the fish got planted. Look for the fish to spread out as we move into next week. Lake Wohlford cats respond well to cut mackerel or chicken liver. The carp were actively spawning, again, during much of the past week. Stop by the ranger station for a dough-bait recipe that works well on both catfish and carp.
