Lake Poway Hours: 6:00 AM-7:45 PM.

Night Fishing is back at Lake Poway! We stocked 1,250 lbs. of catfish on July 23rd. Night fishing is on Friday and Saturdays and the park will be open for fishing until 11:30 PM on those nights – will be shoreline fishing only until further notice.  The best bait to use for catfish is mackerel, chicken liver, or night crawlers. 

Stock Dates: 

July 9 – 1,300 lbs.

July 23– 1,250 lbs. 

August 6 – 1,250 lbs.

August 20 – 1,200 lbs.

September 3 – 1,200 lbs.

Boating Closed - Due to damage sustained on the dock, the boat dock has remained temporarily closed and boats are not available for rent. Please check back for updated information.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information.
