Catfish can be caught throughout the lake, but are particularly active at either end. Lake Wohlford cats are most frequently caught using chicken liver, or cut mackerel.

Mostly small to medium sized bass being caught. Largemouth Bass can be found lingering around structure. The bass are hitting crawdads, plastic frogs, and jerk baits.

The crappie action has been slow. Crappie generally prefer the cover of shade and are caught most frequently on finger jigs or live golden shiners.
